MEET YOUR HANDLER COACHES
Lee Howard
Lee Howard, a native of Pierce County, Georgia, is the manager of Mossy Pond Retrievers. Beginning his training career in 2008 with Brad Arington, he has seen it grow to a kennel of 130 dogs in training. Howard has obtained hundreds of AKC Master Passes, a large number of Master National Passes, as well as several SRS wins and placements.
Carter Turner
Carter Turner from Mossy Pond Retrievers has a passion for training retrievers and a deep desire to succeed at the highest level. In October of 2023, Carter won the Super Retriever Series Crown Championship with a black labrador retriever named Cappy. Carter also placed 3rd in the event with Shooter and 5th place with Zeus. Carter and his dogs showed amazing consistency throughout the 2023 Super Retriever Series season. He made history this season when he swept the Eukanuba Team of the Year award and runners up with dogs Shooter, Cappy, and Smack.
